DC-BETA Subgrant *THIS OPPORTUNITY IS NOW CLOSED*

The DC-BETA subgrant supports OCTO’s Digital Inclusion Initiative—also known as Connect.DC—by funding projects aimed at increasing Internet usage and adoption among the District’s underserved populations where broadband technology has been underutilized. OCTO seeks applicants that provide creative and strategic solutions to increase sustainable broadband adoption among the small business community. DC-BETA is made possible by the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), and funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

RFA deadline: Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 5 pm (EST)

Pre-Application Workshop (optional): Friday, September 7, from 1-3 pm (EST)

The Workshop was held in the Office of Partnerships and Grant Services’ conference room at 300 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Although the workshop was optional for applicants, attendance was strongly recommended.
